APPLICATIONS
|
Tetrabromomethane
is used as a solvent for waxes, greases, and oils. It
is used as an ingredient in fire resistant chemicals
and photochemical compounds. Tetrabromomethane is used
as a fluid for mineral ore selecting agent in geological
assaying. It is used plastic and rubber industry as
a blowing and, vulcanizing agent. It is also used as
a polymerization agent, as a sedative. It is used as
an intermediate in manufacturing agrochemical and organic
synthesis. |
