Carbazic acid, hydrazinecarboxylic acid, is a compound of chemical formula H2NNHCOOH. But it exists only in the form of carbazate (its salt or ester), carbazamide (amide) and carbazoyl (acyl radical). Carbazate structure can used in preparing insecticides and parasiticides. Carbazamide (aminourea) has biotechnological application of protein separation, purification and for protein denaturant.
