MAMMALS

Acute oral LD50 for male rats >5,000mg/kg, for  femal rat is 3,991mg/kg.
Acute dermal LD50 for rats >2000mg/kg.
Acute inhalation LC50 for rats (4H) 0.32mg/lair
Slight eye and skin irritation.
Rats fed 60mg/kg diet for 90 days showed no adverse effect.

WILDLIFE

Acute oral LD50 for quail and mallard ducks >10,000mg/kg

FISH

LC50(96 H) for rainbow trout 0.0028ppm.  However, under field conditions, fish are not at risk normal agricultural usage.

BEE

Highly toxic to bees in laboratory test, but field applications at recommended dosages do not put hives at risk.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS
ALPHA-CYPERMETHPIN is a non-systemic indecticide with contact and stomach action. It consists of active isomer of pyrethroid insecticide Cypermethrin and is highly effective against wide range of chewing and sucking insects in various crops. It is also active against mosquitoes, flies and other insect pests in public health and animal houses.
