GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS |
||
Tetramethrin, the second generation of synthetic pyrethroids, is a contact insecticide with a rapid knockdown action on flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches, wasps and other insect pests in public, home and garden primarily for indoor pest control uses. Tetramethrin is a mixture of four stereoisomers. But commercially effective Tetramethrin is a mixture of two isomers that have the highest insecticidal activity of a cis- to trans- ratio 15~25 : 75~85. It is formulated as an aerosol, an emulsifiable concentrate, and in mosquito coil in combination with other insecticides and synergists. | ||
