APPLICATIONS

There are two acetyl substituted naphthalene (1'-acetonaphthone and 2'-acetonaphthone). They are used as ingredients of fragrances. Their derivatives are used as bactericides and as antitubercular agents. The end applications include soap, detergent, beauty care product, household product. 2-Acetonaphthone is used as a mosquito repellent.
